Le Cœur des Neiges, boutique hotel in Haute-Savoie
Stay at a boutique hotel in the heart of Haute-Savoie
Pretty balconies carved in the Savoyard style, red shutters and large windows looking out onto the summits, Le Cœur des Neiges has the charm of a large family home. We love the chalet feel and the cushions to snuggle into after a great day's activities outdoors. Nighttime reveries and magical nights at the foot of Mont-Blanc await , where the mountain air is so restful. By the fireplace, sunk into a sofa, one takes the time to sip a hot chocolate whilst reliving the day's exciting adventures. It’s so charming… and that's without mentioning the hotel's new feature: its spa wellness area.
The place to visit since 1901
A former dwelling constructed in 1901 for a local notable, Le Cœur des Neiges quickly found its vocation as a hotel. At the foot of Europe's highest peaks, over the years the hotel has become the preferred stop-off for lovers of fresh air and winter sports.
Through renovations and improvements, it has never stopped cultivating its unique style of hospitality: the warmth of wood, cosy comfort and afternoon tea by the fireplace.
Just 5 minutes from the shuttle buses for the ski slopes and a stone’s throw from Saint-Gervais' thermal spa, Le Cœur des Neiges hotel is the departure point for that Haute-Savoie has to offer.
Mountain lounge bar
Next to the fireplace lounge, the Le Cœur des Neiges bar is the ideal spot to spend some time in good company. Lovely benchseats, high stools and a counter serve as a place to share stories, have a tea or a coffee, and when aperitif time comes around, get together over a platter of local specialities of cheeses or cured meats.
This is a place where Savoie's flavours comes in a glass , and goe by all colours: the ruby red of Mondeuse, the gold of Roussette or Chignin Bergeron, the green of génépi or chartreuse, and even the transparent Mont-Blanc gins.
Vitamin-packed breakfasts
Fresh air stimulates the appetite. To start off a day of snow sports or hiking, nothing is better than a hearty breakfast. Served buffet-style in the hotel’s light-filled reception room, produce is seasonal and local. Yoghurts, reblochon and tomme cheeses come from the dairy cooperative at Val d’Arly for the yoghurts, apples from Savoie, preserves from Passy and crispy, melt-in-the-mouth cakes are made by your host. The region has a vast culinary offering!
